Scope of the Journal

Advance Pharmaceutical Journal (APJ), is a peer-review multidisciplinary open access journal, covering a wide range of all research area of Pharmaceutical Sciences. APJ is a bi-monthly open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, short communication, clinical studies and letter to editor. APJ is an official publication of N. S. Memorial Scientific Research and Education Society. Society is registered under M. P. Society Registrikaran Adhiniyam, 1973 (No.44 of 1973). 

The journal cover the multidisciplinary area, especially of basic pharmaceutical science including biological, physical and chemical, clinical, biopharmaceutics, biotechnology, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, new drug developments, various dosage form design, Immunology, molecular science, chemistry, various drug delivery systems, natural products, plant science, life science and medical products.

The scope of journal also cover research work included quality control and standardization of new drug formulations will also considered for publication. A detail pharmacognostic and phytochemical studies of new herbal drugs will be preferred for selection.  Identification of new molecules from herbal medicines and their biological evaluation are important aspect in herbal medicine research.

Editorial Policies

All research described in its publications be conducted and reported in accordance with the guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and practices according to the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly work in Medical Journals from the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Authors are expected to carry out their research-related activities in accordance with the tenets of honesty, transparency, objectivity, and accountability. APJ utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system for participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Peer Review Policy

After the submission of new manuscript each manuscript undergoes peer-review process. When the editorial office receives a new submission, the editorial staff then performs an initial assessment of the manuscript to determine its topical relevance, adherence to the formatting guidelines, and absence of plagiarism in both textual and scientific content. If the manuscript passes this initial assessment, it is forwarded for peer review process.

Plagiarism

Journal has a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. Suspected cases of plagiarism will be investigated and dealt with on a case-by-case basis, with the editors-in-chief responsible for the final decision in all cases.

APJ does not allow plagiarism, or copying from other published articles, whether from other authors or the same authors as the present manuscript, it is considered a serious offense in English language journals. Plagiarism includes appropriating the ideas, study design, methodology, results, or conclusions of other sources without acknowledgment or radical change.
